Saint Alberto Hurtado

Hello miss and classmates

Today, I am going to talk about an important character of the History of Chile.

I choose to Saint Alberto Hurtado, he was not a politic or naval hero, but for me he is very important, because he was gave importance to the solidarity in Chile. Not for nothing he had a high monument in our country, and he was canonized by Benedicto XVI.

He was born in the city of Viña del Mar, in January 22nd, 1901.
He always worked near of the young and the persons more poor.
He founded important institutions like Hogar de Cristo, and he published different articles for spread the catholic religion and the faith for help to fellow man. He was a protector (actually, patron) of the poor, helpless children, and the workers. And, even, he came to disturb to the more affluent sector of the Catholic Church, in when they called him like “cura rojo” or “cura comunista”.  Yet, he always continues with his deed charitable, until his last days.

Really, if I could meet with him, I don’t carry out a question to him, I dedicate to talk with him about his courage and how he can move forward his work, in summary, I realized a full interview about his motivations and his good intentions for help to the needy.

Well, that is all, for me it is very important, because he was a hero different (together with Teresa de Los Andes) to the typical heroes that exist in Chile.

A present !!!

Hello guys!

Today, I’m going to talk about an important present for me. In March, (I don’t remember the exact date), my mom bought me two tickets for the Paul McCartney Concert (one for me, and the second ticket for her).
I suppose that all of you know that I love The Beatles, and go to see a one of the member of that legendary band is really an honor.
I could not have had better companion, my mom is the best! not only for the gift, obviously, if not, that she's always been a great partner for me, always supported me in everything and has been a great mentor, mother, psychologist, friend.
Well, before of the concert, I photographed many times the ticket, photos that you can see in Facebook xD. This day, we had a great time; this night been one of the best in my life, no doubt that we had a good time, we laugh, we sing, we cry, etcetera.
Now, the ticket is stored in my treasure chest, I took care of him as "holy bone". I have to save it, because it is a memory very important, in a future, I will exhibit this ticket to my sons, and I will teach them to listen good music.

Language

About the video that we watching in class, I agree with Mark Pagel, the evolution (natural selection) let that we are different one of one, but, principally, the language is the fundamental factor that to make the “magic”. Well, even the good example of the Babel Tower, that example symbolizes the power that the language had, such power that it differentiate us of others species, and with us. 
Now, the existence of different languages had advantages and disadvantages; first the opposition that we can find is that we and everything else people of the word can’t communicate of a correct way, but with the technology that the human make (translator for example) we can communicate without problems, the globalization can join us, since far and long distances (for example the satellite signal, the internet and all it derivatives, like facebook, the mail and chat system, and others). However, have different languages; it does to make unique identities and personalities.

Well, I think that all the individuals (including us) be a member of a specific community of speakers. But, everyone have a unique speech. For example, me :D !!!
I am a member (and I feel part of it) of a community of speakers, in this case is about the people with Spanish Language, in specific, to the “way” of Chilean identity; additionally, I have a way that I speak different to the all people of Spanish Language, I refer to the way of expression.
